The Red Professional RSDUALP is a dual-power photoelectric smoke alarm that operates from 220–240 V AC mains and/or a 3 V lithium battery with a stated ten-year life. It supports hardwired interconnection, with wireless interconnection available through an optional RFMOD module.

Installation and compatibility

Mains wiring requires installation by a qualified electrician. Follow the manufacturer’s installation, interconnection and testing instructions.

Wireless interconnection requires the optional RFMOD accessory; it is not built in. The RSDUALP datasheet specifies up to 40 devices for hardwired interconnection and up to 20 devices for wireless interconnection. Confirm compatibility and observe the limits of every connected device.

Wireless range depends on the building and obstructions. Do not combine wired and RF networks without checking the installation instructions.
